Christmas "Joy" Card

I used the Mr Frosty Cricut Imagine Cartridge for the patterened paper and the pink. I used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge for my image and cut it at 6". If you would like to cut an envelope to go with this you will need to make your card smaller. It is a very simple, but elegant Christmas card.

Snow Globe Christmas Card

For this Christmas card I used my Gypsy to create it. Using your Gypsy saves a lot of time trying to figure out what sizes you will need to make all of your cuts.

I made this a 5 1/2" by 5 1/2" sized card. I cut my snow globe from Doodlecharms at 5". The santa sleigh is cut at 3.91 width and 1.71 height. The house is cut at 2.63 width and 2.18 height, and the tree is cut at 1" width and 1.35 height. I used the stamp set Christmas Wishes from My Pink Stamper. I would have to say that this is my favorite Christmas card so far. Although, I did get the original idea from Sara at liveloveandScrap. Thanks Sara !!

Double Pocket Christmas Card

This Christmas card was made a little differently than your standard kind of card. I used the "Double Pocket Fold" to make this card. I embellished it with a Christmas stamp set from Michaels that has 30 little images. For my first tag I used my 1" punch to punch them out once I had them colored in with my Copic markers. Then I used my 1 1/2" scallop punch for the Santa. I used some Jolee's boutique dimensional stickers for the second tag. For a video tutorial you can visit my YouTube channel "ScrappinJen31" Episode #58.

Stamped Image Christmas Card

For this Christmas card I used a stamped image and some copic markers to color it in. It is a standard A2 size card. Instead of using ribbon I used green rick rack!

Winter Wonderland Side Step Card

For this card I used several different Cricut cartridges and I used my Gypsy to get me started. I love to use my Gypsy when designing cards. It is so much easier to use it as a template for creating my cards!

I used Winter Woodlands, Winter Frolic, Joys of the Season, and My Community to create this card. Winter Woodlands I used for the apartment building and cut it at 4 1/4" from page 44. Winter Frolic cuts are for the Snowman on page 30 cut at 3", the ice skating girl from page 40 cut at 2 3/4", and the Winter Wonderland phrase cut from page 40 at 1 1/4", and I cut the tree out at 3" from page 48. I used Joys of the Season to cut the snowflake and I used Snowflake 3&4 to make one snowflake that I cut at 1 1/2" from page 61. I used My Community to cut my fences at 1 3/4" on page 37.

I had a super fun time making this card :)

Matchbook Card

I made this card using a Swiss Miss hot chocalate packet. I used the Joys of the Season's Cricut Cartridge and cut the cup at 2 1/2", which I embossed and inked over the image with a white ink and a brown ink. I used some hemp cord to wrap around my layer. I also used a button and tied a bow using the hemp cord as well. To see how to make this card go to YouTube.com and my channel name is ScrappinJen31 and it is episode #51. I also used a stamp from My Pinks Stamper's Winter Punnies

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 48

Hello Everyone,

For this challenge we needed to make a Thanksgiving card using the card feature from any cartridge and any colors we would like.

I chose to use the Wild Card Cartridge and cut this card from page 43 and cut it out at 6 1/2". I also used my Fiskars Seasonal Cassette punch set to cut the little leaves on the card and envelope. I used the Create a Critter to cut out the Turkey from page 70 and he is cut at 2 3/4". I also used brown, yellow, red, and orange ribbon. I used some Tim Holtz Adirondack Espresso Color Wash spray on the green leaf on the envelope. I sprayed some onto a paper towel and dabbed it onto the leaf to give it a fall look. Also, for the leaf look on the envelope I took a leaf off of one of the trees outside of my house and inked it with some marroon Colorbox chalk ink and pressed it onto my envelope!

Make sure you stop over to Cricut Cardz Challenge to see what the Design Team #1 created and remember you can join the challenge also and you have until Nov 2, 2010! Join the fun and creativity :)

First Cricut Imagine Project

This is the very first thing that I have made using my CRICUT IMAGINE. I used the Best Friends and Nursery Tails cartridges. I used the Nursery Tails cartridge for the journaling tag and all other cuts were from the Best Friends cartridge. I do not have the measurements for the cuts because it was going to be a test page and I liked what I printed/cut so decided to make a scrapbook page of it.

Hello Everyone!

I am in Florida with my husband and my daughter! I have some posting to do when I get back to Wisconsin!

I ordered an Imagine from HSN on the launch date, but it came to me defective so I had to send it back. I was able to do that Monday morning and it arrived at my house Friday night so I cannot wait to get home to see if this one works, I return Tuesday night Sept 28th:) I probably won't do any videos on the Imagine just yet until I am more comfortable with it. I may post some of the projects on my blog for those of you that are interested.

Hope all is well and I have a card that I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge Design Team on Wednesday that I made prior to leaving and will hopefully be able to get that posted to my blog for you!

Happy Crafting,

Jennifer

Trick or Treat "Joy" Fold Card

I used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge for this card. I cut the "Costumes" on page 49 at 2 3/4". I also cut the cat from the same page at 2 3/4". I used my white gel pen and traced the lines that were cut in the image.

For the front of the card I cut the bag at 6" from page 52 and I dabbed some black ink around the edges and I also used a black gel pen and traced the trick or treat.

On all of the orange spider pages I used white colorbox pigment ink around all the edges and then wiped it off with a paper towel for a little extra effect. On the background where the "children" are I used black inkl on that peice because of the orange boarder around it.

I also cut 4 spiders out with a Martha Stewart spider punch and attatched in several places throughout the card.

I have to say that I definately had the most fun making this Halloween card :)

Have a Boo-tiful Day Card

I created this card using the Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge. I cut the ghost from page 37 at 4". I also used my new Martha Stewart spider web border punch and some ribbon from Michaels. The cardstock I used is from Recollections.

Beware Card

Thinking of You

Here is a card that I made using the Once Upon A Princess cartridge to cut out the butterfly at 3". I also used the matt stack Hippie Chick by DCWV. I was a little nervous with the color choices but I think it turned out really well and I've had the most comments on this card on my YouTube channel: ScrappinJen31
