Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #59

Hello again! I used an old freebie "Sunny Day" to create my card. You can purchase this file for just $1 at www.scraptasticalkreations.com. The sunshine bursts are a cut from the Silhouette Studio that I cut with my Cameo. First, I grabbed the image for the card and then I mirrored it to the bottom, moved it up just a tad to overlap the line in the middle and then grouped it together. I then sized it to 4" x 5 1/4" for my card layer, worked perfectly! The face on my sunshine is from Peachy Keen Stamps "Wide-Eyed Kids Face Assortment" PK-450. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Create a Critter stamp set! Happy Scrappin' Jennifer

Cricut Cardz Challenge #111: "Summer Fun"

Good Morning! Today, we are starting another Cricut Cardz Challenge :~) The challenge for this week is to make a card for any occasion using Summer as your theme and any colors/cartridge you'd like. So when I think of summer I think of a few things like the pool, beach, and the fair! So I took out my Carousel Cricut Lite cartridge and found this cute ferris wheel, which I cut out at 5". My card base is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The grass is a fiskars punch and the sun is cut from my Silhouette. The stamp is from My Pink Stamper. Go to Cricut Cardz Challenge over at CardzTV and see what we have all created for your inspiration. You have until July 10, 2012 to get your card submitted! Happy Crafting :~))))

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #58

I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out...... I used the "KISS-This and That" file (mustache) from www.scraptasticalkreations.com, which you should stop over and purchase because this mustache is a "MUST-HAVE" and is very popular right now =) The glasses are a file from the Silhouette Studio (Cameo). I used Peachy Keen Stamp set (PK-531) Simple Sallies for my eyes and used some chalk for his cheeks. Thank you for stopping by and remember to "Craft On"

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #57

Hi! Today I have another quick card for you using the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo. The image on my card is called "Daddy's Little Girl" and I used the "Sohpistacated Scallops" file for my circles. You can find both of these files at www.scraptasticalkreations.com. There are also several other must-have files here as well that you may want to check out too. Thank you for stopping by and "Craft On"

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project # 56

Hello again! For my design team project today I created another card! I used the "Hot Diggity Dog" file from www.scraptasticalkreations.com. I used the print and cut feature in the Silhouette Studio (Cameo) to cut out the hot dog and adhered it to my layered card! This is a very simple way to get those projects done if your in a hurry. The picnic tablecloth cardstock is from the "DCWV-Guy Stack" and I used one of the folders from the Simply Charmed cuttlebug folder set. Enjoy your day~

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #55

Good Morning My Friends! Today I made this Father's Day card using the "Freebie Father's Day Shaped Card" from www.scraptasticalkreations.com! The pattern paper is from DCWV The High School Stack and I used a gel pen on the black cardstock to "tie" it all together! Pretty cool huh? I hope you enjoy the rest of your day ;~)

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #54

Glad to have you stop by! Today I am sharing a card that I made for Father's Day for my husband from the children. I used the cutest "Just Like Dad" file from www.scraptasticalkreations.com but I only used the tie from this file! I used my Silhouette Studio software to cut out 5 ties in the actual card base (cut them upside down), then I added patterned cardstock, and then placed another piece of kraft cardstock over the top of the single pieces of cardstock. I also added some twine from doodlebugdesigns! I hope that you enjoyed my simple card today =)

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #53

My daughter has graduated from Kindergarten and of course I had to make a layout for this prideful moment! I used the wonderful "Graduation Day" file from www.scraptasticalkreations.com for my layout. I also used a Fiskars notebook border punch and the paper stacks "The Paper Studio - School Days" and "DCWV - Grade School". Thank you so much for stopping by!

Made Especially For You ~ Weekly Challenge

I decided to whip up a quick card or this weeks' challenge over at Made Especially For You. As some of you may know I am on the Design Team for Scraptastical Kreations. But did you know the owner, Kristy, is on the Design Team for Made Especially For You? So, of course, I had to show some moral support and jump in on the challenge (and probably many more to come):~) So onto my card....I used the "Happy Father's Day" sentiment that I got in a huge package (All Seasons Chipboard Bundle by The Paper Studio) of chipboard embellishments from Hobby Lobby a few months ago and I am finally using it for the second time! Then I took some scraps and made banners, added an accent piece of cardstock, adhered three buttons and added a twine bow onto the top. (I know it's a guy card, but I think the bow on this one is ok, don't you?) So if you have nothing better to do I would say jump in on the challenge, what do you have to lose? The challenge is open until Sunday, June 10th, 2012. The randomly chosen winner will receive the prize from our sponsor and be offered a one-week guest designer position, while the 'Top 3' will receive a badge to post on their blog. Thanks for stopping by!

Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #52

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I made a 12x12 layout using the "Best Buds" file from www.scraptasticalkreations.com. I enlarged the image knowing that I wanted them to be the focal point of my layout! I used The Paper Studio's "A Boy's Universe" for my pattern card stock! Happy Crafting!

Aloha Scrapbook Layout

Today I sat down at my craft area and I knew that I wanted to create a layout using my Cricut, but I had no idea what I was going to make. I started going through all of my cartridges and PACK YOUR BAGS stuck out a little and so I started paging through the manual. I then realized that I have never used this cartridge. Flipped through the pages a little more and chose my images and that is how I came up with this layout! The airplane is cut at 2 1/2" from page 36 and the island is cut at 6 1/2" from page 45. The title Aloha is cut from Silhouette Studio along with the state (islands) of Hawaii. The pattern cardstock is from The Paper Stuio: A Day at the Beach. Thank you for taking a look at my layout today!
