Scraptastical Kreations DT Project #74

Hey it's me again! I have made my very first Border Set for a 12x12 scrapbook layout. What do you think, do you like how it turned out?

Obviously, I have never tempted one of these and I love how it turned out. Now later on down the road all I have to do is add it to a peice of 12x12 cardstock, add photos, and viola I have a completed scrapbook layout.

Or I just might sell it, one never knows.

I used the "Too Cute to Spook" file from

The pattern paper is from K&Co Tim Coffey Halloween 12x12 Paper Pad
(It's the one with the scary pumpkins on the front cover and I bought it last year)

For my stamps, I used "The Cornies" face assortment (PK-293) on the ghosts and "Jack O' Lantern" face assortment (PK-510) for the pumpkins.

I used Martha Stewart's ghost border punch for each side of my border.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my vertical border set for scrapbook pages!
I will be making more of these in the future!!

Watermelon Crawl Blog Hop

Welcome to The Watermelon Crawl Blog Hop! Who doesn’t like to bite into a red, ripe, juicy watermelon on a hot summer day? Yum!!!! If you drive down South, you can find people selling them on the side of the road, out of their pick-up trucks. I think these are the best, because they come right out of the garden. You will always find a cute watermelon cut out at a baby shower or wedding shower, we eat them on the 4th of July, and we make sherbet and wine. You will find them in our kitchens; on our walls, curtains and cookie jars. And they are so darn fun to craft with.

Today we have some very talented women that want to share their watermelon crafts with you. So come do the Watermelon Crawl with us! You don’t want to miss anything so the beginning of the hop will start at Pamela’s Blog

If you arrived from SHAWNEE , then you are on the right path!

We also have some wonderful Blog Hop Candy sponsored by Jennifer Fox. She will be giving away TWO dust covers ~ 1 for a Cricut Expression and 1 for a Silhouette Cameo!
To be eligible, you MUST do the following:
  • go to everyone’s blog and leave a comment
  • go to Jennifer’s business page on Facebook and like the page
  • leave a comment on her Facebook page indicating which machine cover you want ~ either Cricut or Cameo
  • Winner will be announced Tuesday, August 21 on the business page.
Now onto my project for this fabulous Watermelon Crawl Blog Hop. I used my Silhouette to create my single page layout. All of the cuts are found in the Silhouette Studio except for the butterfly and ants, those are dimensional stickers!

I created my photo mats using the Silhouette Cameo as well. You can fit six 3x3 photos inside or you can use a couple of the mats and stick tags in them for journaling.

I used a Viva Decor Pearl pen to dab on the seeds to my watermelon.

Now you must crawl over to to see what is left on the vine.

Thanks for hopping with us and remember… Have fun y’all, and do the watermelon crawl!

Scraptastical Kreations DT Project #73

I made this card with Mary's stamp set in mind and it's from the set that was recently released called  "A Day at the Beach". The sailboat is from and the file is called "Light the Way".

Do you remember when you first started scrapbooking and you bought the scissors that had different cuting designs on them? That is what I used to cut my "water" and the bottom layer is on dimensionals to give it more depth.

Scraptastical Kreations DT Project #71

Hi Guys! Today I have a super cute layout to share with you!! I just took these photos last week of my daughter, Mikayla, and our neighbor boy, Max, playing together on our deck. These two have been inseperable since summer started and it's going to be hard for the both of them when she goes back to school.

I used a newer set called "My Main Squeek" from, which I feel that they are eachother's "main squeek" and when they leave one another for the day/night they give hugs and tell each other they love them. It is sooooo cute.

Onto my layout.....

I picked up an adorbale paper pack by the Paper Studio called "Hoot Hoot" that I used on this layout.

I also used a Kiwi Designs template for my top and bottom border called "Abbie Road", which you can purchase these HERE.

The spiders are a MS punch.

Spideweb border punch is also MS.

I cut slits in the broom end to make it look more real.

For the witch faces I used the PK-293 The Cornies face assortment.
