Welcome to our Back to School Blog Hop
Can you believe that summer is already over? September is here and our Kiddo’s are going back to school! This is such a scary and exciting time for the kids and parents. This is our way to say Thank You to the teachers and to share our special memories. Who doesn’t have boxes and boxes of artwork, report cards, pictures, and sweet valentines from our kids, grandchildren, nieces or nephews? I love to look back at them over the years. And if your kids are just starting out, get a huge box; you are going to need it!
We have some very talented ladies who would love to share their beautiful projects with you.
And of course we will have BLOG CANDY!!!
To be eligible, all you have to do is:
1. Leave a comment on every blog in the hop
Here is our line up
~~~~~~HUGE ANNOUCEMENT~~~~~~
I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM ON THE PAPER PIECING DESIGN TEAM FOR
So in honor of being a part of her FABULOUS team I decided to incorporate a couple of her files into my blog hop project!! I used the School House file which you can find
HERE and I also used the Party Pencil and Apple and those can be found
HERE. Also, she only requires two projects per month instead of two per week! YeeHaw more scrappy time for me =)
(School House) -everything you see here is included
Party Pencil and Party Apple
The fence, grass, sidewalk, and title shadow are all added details that I created using my Cameo.
I created and offset of 0.13 to the Back to School title in black (included with the School House)
and did some doodling with a white gel pen.
On the Party pencil I used the Peachy Keen "Simple Sallies"
Face Assortment Stamps (PK-531)
The Apple I used my new favorie set from Peachy Keen "The Cornies"
Face Assorment Stamps (PK-293)
I also added a lot of extra stamping to my layout to take up some of the space. I used the "School Days" stamp set from CardzTV Stamps, you can purchase these at http://cardztvstamps.blogspot.com.
Now, we wouldn’t want you to be tardy so climb on the bus and ride on over to
Whether you will be starting out listening to the” Wheels on the Bus” Nursery Rhyme or at the end of the year listening to “The Graduation March”, get yourself a big box of tissues, walk your baby out the door and take a deep breath. It’s a long 12 years!
Have fun and take lots of pictures!
