Weekly Challenge with CBC Scrapbooking!

Good Morning Ladies!!

 

It's WEDNESDAY so it is challenge time again already!!

It's my turn to choose the challenge and I'm going with a "Halloween Theme". I chose this because it is officially October and my favorite holiday is in fact Halloween!!

I chose to make a card this week. One main reason for that is because I was late this week getting our challenge suggestion. I used one of the witches from  "May Your Treats be Sweet" paper piecing file from Scrapping Bug Designs.

The sentiment I used is from
CardzTV Stamps "Spooky Sayings"

Now onto Colleen's Halloween themed project!!
We all need ideas for those Halloween treat bags for school so here is your first one!

CardzTV Stamps Linky Party Challenge" Jars, Jams and Jellies

Welcome to CardzTV Linky Party Challenge!

 

The focus for our challenge this week is

 JARS, JAMS and JELLIES!

 

Make any craft project including a jar, jams, or jellies.

The winner of a set of CardzTV stamps will be chosen by random.org and announced on Sept 26th.

 

I chose to use some digital images for my card. I found it by going to Google and searching digital images for jams, but I have already attached the link HERE for you so you don't have to do any searching! The best news about this card is that I paid only 75c for these images and it comes with many more.

 

The background paper, tag, and jam are all part of the digital image! Can it get any easier?

I used the "For you" from "Christmas Joy" and the "Preserved with Love" and "Just for You" are both from "Love in a Jar".

Here is what I created.....

 I found this image in the Silhouette Studio store

and it was one of the first items I purchased actually.

I cut it as shown and made no adjustments to it.

I embossed it using the Cuttlebug Folders:

Swiss Dots

Seeing Spots

Tiny Bubbles

I wanted to give it a little more umph but didn't want to go searching

 high and low for coordinating pattern papers.

I also added some buttons and twine.

My sentiment is from the "Happy Days" set!

I added buttons and twine to my rosettes!

I have two photo mats one sized at 4.25" x 6.25" and the other at 4.25 "x 5.50".

 I also added some Peachy Keen Stamps faces from the

Basic Paper Dolls and Wide Eyed Kids Assortment sets.

CardzTV Stamp Holder

 

GOOD Morning!!

 

I was scrambling for a way to store my CardzTV stamps and all kinds of ideas were running through my head but not that I really liked. I was just looking through the Silhouette Store's new releases and seen this smaller magazine holder that fits A2 size cards with envelopes and thought it would be perfect. Within minutes I had it cut, inked and assembled and I love it. I shared it with my DT sisters and they loved it too.

 

My pattern papers are from Echo Park~Splash.

 

There are about a thousand different ideas that I can think of to "decorate" this box!!
