Today is my first day as a Design Team Member for Joy'slife.com and I'm super excited to get started!!

 

For my first project I am using the "Pun in the Sun" set. 

You can find all of her stamps HERE!

 

 

For our projects this week we are focusing on "dimension" whether it is making 3D projects or just showing dimensionals used in different ways. I used single dimensionals on my the seaweed and my fish's face. Then I doubled the dimensionals on the actual fish.

 

 I found this adorable fish bowl in the Silhouette Studio Store! You can also find it at Miss Kate's Cuttables website.

 I used the PK-570 Basic Paper Dolls stamp set

from Peachy Keen Stamps for my fishies face.

 "This & That" 6x6 paper pad.

Digital Delights by Loubly Loo

 

 

Happy Saturday!!!

 

Today is design team day for me over at

Digital Delights by Loubly Loo!! WooHoo!!

I am sharing a paper piecing file called

"Lara Ladybug" and she is oh so adorable,

you can pick her up HERE.

 

I used some Fun Wire that I picked up at Walmart for her antenna's. I then finished it off by using red, black and white stickles to make her sparkle.

Here is what I created.....

 I found this image in the Silhouette Studio store

and it was one of the first items I purchased actually.

I cut it as shown and made no adjustments to it.

I embossed it using the Cuttlebug Folders:

Swiss Dots

Seeing Spots

Tiny Bubbles

I wanted to give it a little more umph but didn't want to go searching

 high and low for coordinating pattern papers.

I also added some buttons and twine.

My sentiment is from the "Happy Days" set!

"Aim High" Scrapbook Layout

 

Good Afternoon!

 

I have chosen another sketch for a BFF scrapbook challenge that I have going with Colleen.

Once again I have taken to Pinterest to find said sketch and here it is!!

The image I chose for this particular layout is "Aim High"

from Scrapping Bug Designs. I added the clouds from the Silhouette Store

and the grass is a fiskar's punch.

I added the adorable face by using "Dolly Dumplins"

face stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps.

The papers I chose were from DCWV "The Girlhood Stack",

"American Girl Crafts" and The Paper Studio "Fairytale Princess".

I added some lilac twine for the string to my kite.

Also finished it off with some faux stitiching on my top border piece

and also in the lower left side of the page.
