First Cricut Imagine Project
This is the very first thing that I have made using my CRICUT IMAGINE. I used the Best Friends and Nursery Tails cartridges. I used the Nursery Tails cartridge for the journaling tag and all other cuts were from the Best Friends cartridge. I do not have the measurements for the cuts because it was going to be a test page and I liked what I printed/cut so decided to make a scrapbook page of it.

Hello Everyone!
I am in Florida with my husband and my daughter! I have some posting to do when I get back to Wisconsin!
I ordered an Imagine from HSN on the launch date, but it came to me defective so I had to send it back. I was able to do that Monday morning and it arrived at my house Friday night so I cannot wait to get home to see if this one works, I return Tuesday night Sept 28th:) I probably won't do any videos on the Imagine just yet until I am more comfortable with it. I may post some of the projects on my blog for those of you that are interested.
Hope all is well and I have a card that I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge Design Team on Wednesday that I made prior to leaving and will hopefully be able to get that posted to my blog for you!
Happy Crafting,
Jennifer

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 42
Here is the card that I made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge # 42. The challenge is to make a card for Halloween using the card feature from any cartridge you'd like, and using any colors you'd like.
I used the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge to cut the Haunted House "card feature" on page 69 @ 6" and the spider web on the front porch at 1".
I used the Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge to cut the bat (pg 48) at 1 1/2", the street sign (pg 70) at 3 1/2", ghosts (pg 37) 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", pumpkin (pg 59) at 1 1/2", Happy Halloween phrase (pg. 30) at 1".
The colors used are black, purple, lime green, yellow, gray, orange, blue, and green!
I hope that you all will join us in the challenge! I had a blast putting this card together :) You can hop on over to the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog here and see what cute Halloween cards that Design Team 1 came up with for the challenge! Hope to see you over there :)
The challenge is open to the public this week, so it's time for you to be creative and show us what you've got!

Trick or Treat "Joy" Fold Card
I used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge for this card. I cut the "Costumes" on page 49 at 2 3/4". I also cut the cat from the same page at 2 3/4". I used my white gel pen and traced the lines that were cut in the image.
For the front of the card I cut the bag at 6" from page 52 and I dabbed some black ink around the edges and I also used a black gel pen and traced the trick or treat.
On all of the orange spider pages I used white colorbox pigment ink around all the edges and then wiped it off with a paper towel for a little extra effect. On the background where the "children" are I used black inkl on that peice because of the orange boarder around it.
I also cut 4 spiders out with a Martha Stewart spider punch and attatched in several places throughout the card.
I have to say that I definately had the most fun making this Halloween card :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge # 40
This weeks challenge was to make a card using scalloped circles, scalloped squares, scalloped ovals, or scalloped rectangles. Use any cartridge, colors, or theme you would like.
I chose the scalloped circles. I used my Mini Monograms cartridge for the circles that I cut at 3 1/2" and 3 1/4". I used Doodlecharms for the ladybug which I cut at 2 1/4". I used the Create a Critter for the "LoveBug" which is cut at 1 3/4". I also used the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder, and I added 3 buttons with thread for the final touch.
This is my first challenge card that I've done and it was a blast getting it all put together! I hope that you will give one of the challenges a try! Check out the challenge blog and the amazing people on the design team at Cricut Cardz Challenge, click here
