Scraptastical Kreations Design Team Project #19
APPLE ORCHARD EXPRESS SVG FILE
Ok for today's DT project I put a little twist on this file! You can do that with any of the SVG files that you want to work with. You can add or remove stuff as you wish, they are your files that you have paid for, so feel free to get creative witht them :o)
I used the "Apple Orchard Express" file that you can find here and put a school theme to it.
I used some fonts in the SCAL 2.0 and Silhouette Studio software, adjusted the size and added a shadow to it for my letters and the title! I used the DCWV "The Grade School" mat stack (4.25" x 6.25") and the DCWV "The Grade School" 12x12 paper stack for the pattern paper. I also used those wonderful Kiwi Lane Designs templates (Paisley Place-top) and Spook Alley-bottom) that you can find here.
I also used some Peachy Keen stamps for my little worms face.

I hope that you are all enjoying the hard work that I am putting into my SK Design team projects and I will see you soon :~)
I found your work on utube and I am so intrigued with it I jjust have a Cricut and am new to all this. Can SVG files be loaded to the Cricut or do I have to have some other software? I've heard is the Cricut craft room could I download items from there similar to yours? Sorry for all the questions.
ReplyDeleteHi! You do need to have a seperate program to cut SVG files. But, there may be a problem. Awhile ago, Provocraft sued Make the Cut and Sure Cuts a Lot (which are programs that you would use with your Cricut to cut SVG file images). If you are able to get a SCAL 2.0 (Sure Cuts a Lot 2.0) then you may get it to work with your Cricut.
ReplyDelete**If it is SCAL 3.0 it will NOT work with the Cricut.**
The Cricut Craft Room will not work either for SVG those are Provocraft/Cricut images ONLY.
There are other machines out there, such as, the Silhouette SD or Cameo that you can upgrade your software to the Designer Edition and be able to cut SVG files.
Now, if you wanted to you could use the Everday Paper Dolls or the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge and sort of imitate the layouts using people instead of bears! You can also do a search in your Cricut Craft Room to see what cartridges you would need for any of the other images, your choice!
Hope that helps :o)
